World War III? Think Twice Before Answering. (Part 2)

WHY WORLD WAR III IS UNLIKELY
While the outlook is grim, there are reasons to believe that a full-scale Third World War won't happen. Nuclear deterrence, international diplomacy, and a growing awareness of the horrors of war all act as safeguards against escalation. No leader in their right mind would want to trigger a nuclear holocaust.
In truth, the quest for world peace will intensify, pushing for global unification under a single political, economic, social, and even religious banner. We can already see this happening with the many "agendas" being pushed today. But a peace built without God is destined to crumble. Humanity, like at the Tower of Babel, will try to unite and advance, ignoring God, which will inevitably lead to disaster.
This pursuit of superficial peace, however, will be the prelude to an unimaginable catastrophe, bringing about "a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then” (Dan 12.1, NBV). As prophesied nearly two thousand years ago, when world leaders proclaim "Peace and security", sudden destruction will follow... "(1 Thessalonians 5:3). There won't be a world war that turns our planet into a wasteland, but something far worse: destruction on a scale never seen before, leaving the globe literally engulfed in flames.
The book of Revelation offers us a glimpse of this destruction, with shocking images of earthquakes, tsunamis, meteorites, and fire raining from the sky; pandemics, pollution, and more. Although the book doesn't present a chronological sequence of events, and not all of them are in the future, since some have already happened on a smaller scale throughout history, chapters 16, 6, 8, and 9 give us an idea of what this end could look like.
THE VEIL LIFTED: JUDGMENT DAY AND GLOBAL DEVASTATION
The Mega-Earthquake and Hail that will Destroy Everything Known (6th Seal and 7th Plague).
"And there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of goat hair, and the moon became like blood" (Revelation 6:12,13). "And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the 1 earth. Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. 2 Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent..." 3 (Revelation 16:18-21).
A cataclysm unlike any other will shatter the world. The earth will rage, buildings will crumble like sandcastles, and the sea will rise up in monstrous waves, swallowing coastlines whole. Entire cities, the heart of human civilization, will be reduced to rubble. Islands will vanish beneath the waves, and mountains will crumble into dust. And to top it off, a monstrous hailstorm, with ice chunks weighing up to 57 pounds, will pummel the Earth, unleashing chaos and destruction. Panic will grip humanity, leaving them powerless against nature's wrath. This plague will scar the planet forever, an experience beyond human comprehension.
