The Devil Doesn't Even Notice You

Successful entrepreneurs create systems that work for them, generating profits without needing to be on top of everything all the time. The devil does the same. He sowed the seed of evil and now reaps its fruits: hatred, crimes, lies, defamation. His diabolical enterprise works perfectly: his efficient machine of chaos and evil operates without the need for his constant intervention.

Don't take it personally, but the devil has more important things to do than just think about you. Yes, the Bible says he prowls around like a roaring lion, but believe me, it's not that personal.

Think about successful entrepreneurs: they create systems that work for them, generating profits without needing to be on top of everything all the time. The devil does the same. He sowed the seed of evil and now reaps its fruits: hatred, crimes, lies, defamation. His diabolical enterprise works flawlessly: his efficient machine of chaos and evil operates without the need for his constant intervention.

But forget the image of the devil on vacation, sunbathing on a yacht with a coconut in hand. This guy is a workaholic! Although he has a well-oiled malevolent system, sometimes he rolls up his sleeves and gets right into the field to make sure everything goes his way. Remember the snake stunt in Eden? Or when he gave Job a beating with that horrible disease? Sometimes he even assigns personal demons, like the one that bothered Paul (2 Corinthians 12:7). But don't worry, that's not the usual!

No, I'm not saying he doesn't want your destruction and eternal damnation, because he does, and he's determined to finish you and all of humanity. I'm not saying that you and this world are indifferent to him in an absolute sense. I'm just saying that he has already established a system that works for him and doesn't need to babysit you: Look at how much death, pain and destruction there is!

Hey! Next time you say, "the devil is tempting me," "the devil made me fall," I'm just saying stop blaming the devil for your problems. Think twice! Maybe you've fallen into his trap, into that system of evil that surrounds us. But don't worry, you have the power to choose! Choose to love instead of hate; bless instead of curse; heal instead of hurt; make peace instead of war. Every little decision counts in this cosmic battle between good and evil. And guess what, you're not alone in this! But that's a topic for another day. May the strength of Christ be with you! 😉
